Marc Schneider, Psy.D.
Adolescent, Adult, & Geriatric Psychiatry

SchneiderDr. Schneider received his Doctor of Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in 1985. He joined Riverside Psychiatric & Counseling Associates in 1992 and provides behavioral healthcare services such as marital and family psychotherapy, psychological care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations and screening for bariatric bypass evaluation. Dr. Schneider sees patients in the Downers Grove office on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays and in the Riverside office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.



Carmen Adams, MSW, LCSW
Child, Adolescent & Adult Therapy

carmenCarmen Adams earned her Masters of Social Work, with a concentration in child and family studies, from the Jane Addams College of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1999. Carmen’s social work career includes multiple roles in a residential treatment center, child welfare, case management in the child/adolescent unit of Linden Oaks Hospital and psychotherapy. Carmen sees clients at the Downers Grove office on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Carmen is fluent in Spanish.





David Hodgson, LCSW, ACSW
Adult Therapy

HodgsonDavid Hodgson received his Masters in Social Work from the University of Chicago in 1975. David’s extensive background includes clinical social work, and individual and family therapy with emphasis on patients with a history of psychiatric hospitalization. David joined the practice in February 2009 and sees patients in the Riverside office on Wednesdays and Thursdays.





Scott Larson, LCPC
Adolescent & Adult Therapy

larsonScott Larson received his Masters in Counseling from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in 2000. He has a considerable amount of behavioral health training that includes work with families, troubled youth, crisis intervention, and behavioral counseling. Scott has been with Riverside Psychiatric & Counseling Associates since 2004 and practices out of the Downers Grove office on Mondays and Thursdays and in the Riverside office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.



Cheryl Long, MSW, LCSW
Adolescent, Adult & Family Therapy

Cheryl LongCheryl Long received her Masters of Social Work, with concentration on children and family, from the Jane Addams College of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1993. She also became certified in eating disorders from the College of DuPage. Cheryl has been involved in social work at various institutions throughout the Chicagoland area in both outpatient and clinical therapy. Cheryl has been with Riverside Psychiatric & Counseling Associates since 1996 and practices out of the Downers Grove office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and in the Riverside office on Mondays and Thursdays.



Cynthia Matook, MSW, LCSW

Cynthia Matook received her Masters in Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1986. Cindy’s extensive background includes outpatient therapy in several hospitals in the Chicagoland area as well as facilitating depression screening programs for Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, Downers Grove. Cindy joined Riverside Psychiatric & Counseling Associates in 2005 and practices out of the Downers Grove office Mondays through Thursdays.



Elizabeth Meyers, LCPC, ATR
Child, Adolescent, Adult & Geriatric Therapy

MeyersElizabeth Meyers earned her Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology with a concentration on art therapy from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in 1999 and is a Registered Art Therapist with the Art Therapy Credentials Board. Liz worked for over eight years at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in the Behavioral Health inpatient and outpatient programs facilitating various groups, art therapy and individual and family sessions. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Liz currently practices out of the Downers Grove office on Mondays and Wednesdays.


Christopher Rhone, LCPC
Adolescent & Adult Therapy

RhoneChris Rhone received his Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Lewis University, Romeoville, Illinois. He has years of experience working in hospital settings and taught Abnormal Psychology at Columbia College, Chicago, from 2001 to 2004. He specializes in self-injury cases and also treats a variety of other populations. He joined Riverside Psychiatric & Counseling Associates in 2001 and sees patients in the Downers Grove office on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. He practices in the Riverside office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
